SOLD OUT Enhancing Leadership
Building on the success of the inaugural Enhancing Leadership series we launched last year, Te Pai Ora SSPA are thrilled to announce that we're bringing this opportunity back for another group of dedicated leaders.
The leaders who joined us last year were inspired by the Kaitiaki facilitating the sessions and were able to strengthen whanaungatanga within the community-based social service sector as well as gain valuable leadership insights to take back to their organisations. We are excited to offer this to a new group of leaders in 2025 giving them the chance to further develop their leadership skills while nurturing their own hauora.
This year, we are offering unique, tailored workshops featuring a distinguished line-up of Kaitiaki—respected leaders in their fields, including welcoming back Kaye-Maree Dunn and Dr Chris Jansen from Whakamanawa 2024. These sessions will blend presentations, frameworks, and philosophies with peer-to-peer discussions and real-world workshopping, providing a rich, interactive experience for all participants.
Key topics will include collaborative leadership, governance, and developing intergenerational leadership approaches—essential skills for today’s social service sector.
The series will begin and conclude with a whanaungatanga session, fostering collective leadership and creating a lasting community of practice. With places limited to 15 leaders, we encourage you to secure your spot early (please note, registration is limited to two participants per organisation). Signing up grants you access to all six sessions.
We look forward to building on last year’s success and continuing to grow our collective knowledge and leadership capacity.
Sessions and Kaitiaki
This series has been carefully crafted to meet the needs of the community-based social sector. When you register, you’re signing up for all six sessions, and we encourage you to attend them all. The selected topics and Kaitiaki aim to provide you with both inspiration and practical tools to strengthen your leadership impact.
The series will consist of six online sessions, each lasting 1 to 2 hours, starting on 1 May 2025. Participation will be limited to 15 leaders (with a maximum of two per organisation), to foster collaboration, networking, and the development of a supportive community. The format will include presentations, group engagement, and peer-to-peer facilitated discussions.
