Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

At our June Kai & Kōrero: Learning over lunch session we heard from Grandparents Raising Grandchildren.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren provide specialised advocacy support services and caregiver education programmes to empower grandparent and whānau caregivers so they can raise resilient and healthy tamariki and rangatahi and strengthen their whānau. They are a national service offering support to over 6,000 care families since 2001. In this session they will discuss their mission, specialised services, and answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to know more please contact their chief Executive Brad Clark or Senior Community Advocate, Christina Howe
