SSPA welcomes consultation on data use

SSPA welcomes the consultation with NGO on the use of data to improve decision-making for social services and has prepared a briefing paper to assist members.

Consultation forums are being held around the country from May to August, with 140 forums in 28 locations. The dates and venues are announced on the Social Investment Agency (SIA) website.

SSPA national manager Brenda Pilott was a member of the SIA working party that planned the consultation and sees it as a genuine opportunity to contribute to policy guidelines on data collection and use, and on the government’s approach to investing in social wellbeing.
